New Vision Project
Successful leadership programmes inspire participants to develop new vision in their professional and personal growth. The ACLP recognises the importance of this intellectual breakthrough and will facilitate the process by engaging world-class experts to advise each participant in a New Vision Project.
This project is a feasibility study of a ‘big idea’ which has the potential to attract new audiences, generate additional revenue, bring about novel means of engagement with the public, raise operational effectiveness, improve the cultural environment or stimulate scholarly discussion. Participants are required to conduct research on best practices and similar schemes outside their own institutions. They are encouraged to undertake self-financed overseas visits or ‘piggy-back’ on the Shanghai module to gain an outside perspective on issues, although such visits are not mandatory. The ACLP will facilitate such overseas visits and suggest potential projects through its extensive international network.
The New Vision Project has to be completed before the end of 2011. It can take various forms including conference paper, poster, video, and written report of not less than 5000 words.
